Living Services
Minds in Motion Initiative (MIMI) wants to help people with brain injuries who are living in their own homes to be able to stay at home and live as independently as possible. We provide in-home and community supports to help our clients reach their independent living goals.
For those needing more assistance in their journey toward independent living, MIMI has developed a transitional housing model of care to integrate therapeutic pathways toward interdependence. The aim is to increase the independence of those served with the overarching goal of self-sufficiency, so people are able to live in the home of their choosing. These residential services are a way to eliminate the need for long term (life-long) dependence on foster care homes, group homes, and residential care facilities for people who have brain injuries.
Services include:
Transitional housing with a coordinated plan toward self-sufficiency.
Facilitate pathways towards self-sufficiency.
Rehabilitative care 7 days per week.
Creating a support network.
